MUST BE OPERATED AT LEAST 10 FEET FROM any deck, roof or building.

Any tenants, owners or guests, using any flame based device must comply with this distance rule. You may store un-operated grills on your deck or patio, but in order to use them you must take them to an open grass area at least 10 feet away from the buildings and decks.

 

Charcoal disposal – allow ashes to fully cool before disposing in a trash bag and trash containers.

 This is the law found in the North Carolina General Statues.
